This is indeed a “gentle, creamy cleanser”. It is nearly unscented. Not the best for removing mascara, but an overall good cleanser. I would recommend it.

I have sensitive, often red skin and am plagued with eczema flare ups on my eyes and around my lips. Finding products that are kind to my skin is an incredible challenge. This cleanser absolutely rises to that challenge! One month in, my redness is getting calmed. My acne is dramatically lessened (thanks also to combining with the Meltdown product - folks, that product is a miracle and a must-have). It’s kind of trippy because when I wash my face, it feels almost like I’m just washing with a lotion, it’s so creamy, but when I wash it off with water, my face feels clean and incredibly hydrated and smooth. Almost leaves like a post-cream finish. What’s cool about this is that it leaves good moisture and oil on my face, ensuring that my skin doesn’t produce its own pore-clogging oil in the wake of a drying, stripping cleanser. It smells pleasant and making the circular motions with this creamy cleanser is such a centering little ritual of self-care. Folks, this cleanser is the real deal. For what it does, it could cost considerably more - it competes and often outperforms far more expensive nontoxic facial cleansers. Bravo, Blume!
