I have sensitive, combination, and hormonal acne prone skin. This balm does not make me break out, get a rash, or leave dry spots. A little goes a long way, and my face remains moisturized and happy throughout the day. I also use little dabs to clear up small patches of eczema I'll get on various parts of my body, and it works quickly. I keep the full size in the fridge to maintain its freshness, but put a small amount into the left over travel size container and keep it in my bathroom for quick use. It took my awhile to want to spend money on a pricey skin care item, but this was well worth it. I am considering trying other products from the Mahalo care line since I am so happy with this balm.

As far as hydration, great. However, I don't notice a reduction in redness, or pimples ( I don't have a lot but my chin/jaw always has some active breakouts) I don't expect a moisturizer to solve that problem, instead I rely on more of a targeted serum/acid/retinol... but I did watch the problem area and found it stayed the same. What I did notice was the radiance it brought- looking very rested, rosy, and skin looks super plump. A few scars look somewhat faded but we'll see by the end of the bottle.

So far it's not the same consistency that I remember from the sample. I know they are all fresh batches but this jar seems to be gritty, even after warming it by rubbing it between my fingertips. I can see that it will last me quite awhile, and overall happy I purchased it.
