Gently press and slide the needles of the brush against your hairline, starting from the tip of your scalp above your forehead and backwards in one smooth motion to the back of the scalp, and stopping at the base of your head.
It’s actually best used daily, as it can really repair and nourish dry strands throughout the day.
Repeat 10 times and cover all areas of the scalp as much as possible.
We recommend doing this daily for at least 5 minutes.
You can also slide the needles all the way down the neck for a neck and shoulder massage.
You can scrape from the top of your scalp all the way down the nape of your neck to your shoulders for a soothing massage. Please do not use it on the face and avoid the eye area at all times.
For best results, sweep across the scalp twice daily while brushing clean, dry hair.
Individual results may vary, but many start seeing new baby hairs sprout after 3-4 months of daily use.
Apply gentle to medium pressure depending on preference. Sweep from the front of the hairline backwards in a pulling motion while brushing hair, ensuring to make contact with the scalp during hair brushing to activate massage function.
To Clean: Gently wipe needles with a damp, chemical-free cloth.
(Some jewelry polishing cloths contain chemicals that may cause the Gold plating to react)
To avoid water entering pinhole, do not rinse with water during cleaning. Do not rinse under running water. Wipe gently with a clean, damp facial cloth. Avoid using polishing cloth has these often contain chemicals that will react with the Gold plating.
FAQ:
What is the little hole in the middle of the brush?
It may look strange, but the hole in the brush cushion (not a missing bristle) is a pinhole that allows air to flow through (and allows the rubber to press downwards). If air is trapped inside the brush, it can't maintain elasticity during brushing. The pinhole is made by our artists burning a pin through the rubber by hand and is part of how old traditional handmade brushes are created.
Will the pins lose their luster?
Over time, the 24K gold will slowly wear off and be absorbed with use. This is normal and means that you're using it properly (and enough).
This doesn't affect product use or quality at all. We use 24K gold for its softness, health benefits and purity.
