Directions: Allow a warm shower to soften the skin and hair, and open the pores. Squeeze about a dime sized amount into palm of hand, or fingertips, and apply to desired area. Our shave lotion glides on like a cream, and offers a rich yet light barrier between the skin and razor.

It was either April or May of 2014. It was a beautiful day in New York. Warm and sunny with the feel of Spring in the air. Sandals and bare legs were ahead and I was not ready. Two words. Winter. Fuzz. My girlfriends and I booked the first opening for a pedicure, and I set out to shave my legs. Excited, I grabbed a brand new razor- pink, plastic, and fresh out of the clamshell package. I foamed up and shaved as I normally do, threw on a light jacket, and ran off to meet my girls.
At the salon, I chose a polish, a barely there Blush, took a seat on the plush bench, rolled up my jeans, and placed my legs on the basin. My friend looked over in horror. "WHAT happened to your leg?!" I looked down at the inside of my right calf, covered in razor burn. Large. Red. Angry. I shrugged and casually replied "Oh that?...that's normal". But the conversation stayed with me. Why was it normal? Why was I used to razor burn, ingrown hairs, and strawberry scented shaving foams with ingredients I couldn't pronounce? I asked around. Irritation, itchy skin, razor burn, ingrown hairs. The shave tales were many, and they were bad.
As women, most of us learned to shave by going to the drugstore and picking a razor marketed as "feminine". Pink or purple, it was likely introduced to us by ads of a woman twirling across a beach, with a piece of silk trailing behind her. Most of us found that shaving led to anything but silky, touchable skin. Worse yet, we'd come to expect that shaving was a bad experience, that irritation is normal and just a nuisance we live with. Oui think it's time for a new normal.
Oui Shave pairs beautifully crafted razors with rich shave oils, high quality blades, and luxurious, natural products created with women in mind. Our mission? A better shave through beautiful skincare. Inspired by the way women shaved over 60 years ago, Oui are for women, by women. Free of irritation, Oui Shave is for truly touchable skin. To top it off, your new razor lasts over ten years, and yes...you can use it everywhere you shave. I hope you'll thoroughly enjoy your experience with Oui Shave. As always, I'm here if you have questions.
