Under Luna – Our Story
Creativity, passion and the beginnings of an idea were the motivators that created Under Luna. Creating natural hair shampoo and conditioner was a passion project that quickly captured the hearts of family and friends. Soon after, demand for these native ingredients and formulas pushed Under Luna to be born!
All products are handcrafted and made with love in house. After starting up this dream in late 2014, this humble company has changed the lives and routines of many.
Under Luna products incorporate a plethora of herbs, oils and remedies for those who appreciate traditional native formulas. This brand continuously seeks out ways to spread the passion of healthier hair care to the world and for loyal customers.
Under Luna - Our Founder
Carly became inspired in late 2014 to create her own brand of hair products that are effective and natural. After months of frustration and setbacks, she created a product that she could proudly call her own. She determinedly wanted her products to maintain the luxurious feel that commercial shampoos and conditioners typically have.
Soon after her brand started to take off, she started to construct an ayurvedic influence within her products. Not only was her shampoo and conditioner achieving the quality that she spent months refining, but she simultaneously found herself navigating being a mother during this time as well.
Together, Carly and her daughter are the faces of this product line and share a love for the natural formulas from Under Luna products.
Under Luna – Our Ingredients
All of Under Luna ingredients are inspired by ayurvedic remedies, rituals, oils and herbs for hair care. Each product can be paired with different hair types to provide the best care possible. All Luna products are gluten-free, cruelty-free and packaged with love. Native plants, fruits, herbs, etc. are natural, organic, and are handpicked for the best results.
Ingredients are selected to be safe for adults and especially children. Shampoo and conditioner use can be unpleasant for those who experience dry skin or hair. After using damaging products, it was clear that there must be ingredients that can sustain and regenerate hair health. Only the safest and most natural ingredients are used to create a luxurious feel in Under Luna products.
